I have made an assumption that you do have The Path of the Shell installed and are looking for the file name for the "3rd age of Ahnonay". If you don't, that is why you can't find what you are looking for... If you don't have the TPotS expansion pack, you can purchase the Uru, Complete Chronicals and install it. It can be found, on-line very inexpensively.

We can't pass actual, copywrited material, via the forums...

Hmm, OK, I'll check when I get home and see if I can figure out where they are. Perhaps, before then, Slugzzz might pop by and help out as I think he might know... Oh, Slugzzz....

sigh.........................has any one here made a cd and gotten the music?

I did make a soundtrack of the original UrU: ABM about two years ago, because I didn't care for the arrangement on the UrU Music CD (soundtrack) and found all the music files then. Not sure about UrU: CC, though was thinking about making a new CD this morning. I'll do some checking in my files to see what is loaded and track down some names, since I have UrU: CC and UU installed on my computer.

I remember there was a trick to finding these files, and I think it was more to do with file size. Yes, that is is ... sort the files my file size. The larger ones will all be the main music files. They will be in the main SFX folder as .OGG files and in the streaming_cache folder as .wav files. If you can get the converter for the .OOG files, you stand a better chance of better quality.

Ahh ... think I found the file you are looking for ... ahnySphere03-Amb01_Loop

Never mind! I think Wolfie found the file Gamer was looking for. Cats had mentioned earlier that the file size was a clue to the music files. They are considerably bigger. Some even have 'music' in their name!!

You're more than welcome ... and in turn you have helped me out. I had been wanting to create a new UrU soundtrack since I had messed up some of the cuts on my original creation. For some reason the tracks cut off a few seconds early, though I think I know why that happened.

Now the trick with locating the music is really no trick, but a lot of in-depth searching. Being that I had gone through the files numerous times already, I was already familiar with each of the files. We also used to have a thread that did list all the music files from UrU: ABM ... but I have no idea where that thread is and don't feel like searching for it.

Most of the files are easy to find because they are quite large, the harder ones to locate are the music files that are shorter or even worse, broken up into parts. These are the most difficult to locate and basically take going through each file ... one by one ... looking for the ones with music. Most are easy to identify as they will usually say AMB somewhere in the title, but this is still and exhaustive search because there are quite a few of these as well. Since I'm already working on this ... if you like ... give me a few days to go through all these and I will post a complete listing of what I find.

Not at all, like I said ... I have been wanting to do this for some time and have been putting it off for whatever reasons. Now I have a even more reason to get this done for myself and help someone out as well. thumbsup.gif
