Hi Mem!!!!!!! bye2.gif memiki.gif
I'll post my Ki as soon as I can get one........ confused1.gif
I'm trying the game on my laptop and I get all the way to the point where I would create my Avie and it locks up after the update screen beg.gif
I haven't had the time yet to try and troubleshoot the problem. It's an awesome machine and has plenty of "power" to run the game... It runs Guild Wars just fine. But I've never run URU on it.
I'm sure I'll figure it out soon.... I HOPE.
See Y'all soon in the cavern clapping.gif

Yeah I have noticed the difference in uru and the city even if your on top of someone they all off doing there own stuff and not talking.
Times change I guess but I have always noticed in gog hood there all saying hi and what have you to anyone linking in.
Many times there is just no one there in the hood (My timezone is more responsible for that lol)
Not sure what's the go now with Greeters and Cyan and the "relationship" status of Greeting for Cyan or yourselves
cause i'm not a GM/Greeter any more but I will say it's so great to see you all back in the cavern helping people once again. rock.gif

From my experience so far, greeting in the Bevins are prety well taken care of. There seems to almost always be someone at the guild of greeters bevin who friendly and helpful. When going into the city, a great way to interact with others is to greet and address people by name. The first locale you have to go to in the city when new is the dock area, as that is the only link you have. So maybe someone can be situated there eager and willing to help as well to those first starting off.

I have found that in order to get a response for people is to address them directly. If you are near someone and you want to say hello, add their name into the sentence, or send them a private tell (although I always discourage that, I love talking publicly). These sorts of things help bring people out of their private shell; makes them feel more personal. Breaking the barriers of social interaction in the internet is one of the most difficult tasks anyone can take, so it is one that has to be done with gusto far beyond what would normally be done in real life.

Hi Myer and WELCOME TO OUR FORUM! thumbsup.gif

You are right, greeting is not just for Greeters only, but for everyone. Thanks again for your encouraging remarks, and see you in the Cavern!
