The sun moves, slowly, and once it gets to a point, it just, stops.

Mine sets. Abel... it disappears in the water on the spaceship side of the island. Then the stars come out. It's pretty cool.

Not sure why yours does not.

It is great having this addition to GameTap!

I think i know, when it does it.

It works on new games, and sometimes when i return from an age, it will stop, oh, about 6 inches (on my screen) above the water it sets on.

So far, i started a new game, comleeted Mechanical, returned, and watched a sucsessful sunset, and did the same for Stoneship, so far so good.

This is because the sun doesn't set (let alone move) in the original Myst. This only happens in realMYST.

Ahh, then in this case ... as I recall ... the day night cycle was like every 12 minutes or something like that. Been a while since I played it and this was the CD-ROM version of the game. From what I have been reading though, it would seem the GameTap was is having quite a few issues.

Not saying anything more on that though ... excuse me while I chew on my tongue. whistling.gif

Might be driver problems. I know I had to (somewhat illegally) download different video drivers to make RealMyst work.
