Cool! We looked at the MagiQuest site, and if you watch the video that starts when you are on the home page, there's a verrrrry URUesque avatar! We had never heard of the interactive attraction before, but it looks like there's one of them within an hour and a half drive from here, so I think that's going to be a destination before summer is over. Meanwhile, I'll look forward to hearing more about this joint online venture!

Check out the cool You Tube promotional video for the MagicQuest online game. It brings back memories of URU. The URU engine features are evident.

Brings back memories of Myst Online and Prologue and Until Uru.

Discussion over in the Myst Online site "General Discussion" area.

Wow! It IS Uru! Only that, this time, you have a wand instead of a KI...

Hopefully there will be more substance to it than merely pretty fireworks. Looks like a fun place though - at least it's outside in the sun, not buried in gloom!!

It may walk like a duck, quack like a duck, have feathers like a duck, but it is still not URU whistling.gif

Absolutely correct William. Though, I suppose, those who still long for a rebirth of UrU may be, at least partially satisfied, with an UrU clone. It certainly has the "feel" we were comfortable with.

It doesn't look like URU ... it looks like a take off of Harry Potter with a Myst twist.
Doesn't pull at me.
