Stack dumps used to be a common problem. Time seems to be the best cure. I got stack dumped this week too. It generally happens when my graphics settings are on way too high (lower your resolution, turn off shadows, etc.) and I attempt to go into an area with a lot of people. Not surprisingly, I got "stack dumped" when I linked into the city and came upon a very large gathering of people surrounding Nick White.

Either try logging back into Gametap/URU, or give it a little while before you go back to the game. If you have no luck whatsoever, put in a ticket. Good luck.

Stack dumps and BSODs are things related to memory. Windows, memory and games don't like each other, I guess. I was having a lot of those two in the past but, recently, I upgraded my puter and added an extra memory card to 2 GBytes. Never had any stack dumps or BSODs anymore. Just to put my 2 D'ni cents on this...

FYI ...... Paishantao

If you do not know..... BSOD = Blank Screen of Death,
That is where your system locks up and all you see is a Blank screen!
( black or blue most of the time )

and 2 more cents From win 98 to XP you'd see the blue screen and it would stare at you. With XP and likely forwards(i dont have vista nor have i tried it) the blue screen may never show up, you'll just see your computer reset. That is because of a setting in the Advanced tab of the system properties window. In the lowest panel, Startup and Recovery, click on the settings button. You'll see several check boxes, look for the one that says System Failure : Automatically Restart. Either its checked or not checked. If its checked you may never see the BSOD, unchecked it will allow you to see the BSOD and all the datum MS could possibly cram on a single screen. Some times its nice to see what is on the BSOD as it could help you in making whatever happened, not happen again.
