Ok here is what I know so far about the levels for this forum. You start off with 1 box just for make a single post. You get a 2nd one for 30 posts and a 3rd one for 50 posts. There are more levels than that but I am not sure how many posts you need for those!

Yup, I got my second at 30. I think its 100 for the fourth. I noticed it when Tijara had about 107. shock.gif

QUOTE
Actually the warn isn't for space it's a warning system for bad people bleh.gif  Anyone posting anything offensive that raises a complaint could potentially be warned.  Each warning you receive increments your warn level by 10% when the meter is full - you get a ban from the forum for a specific amount of time.

I am sure it won't be used at all, as we are such a great group.  Also no-one except mods and yourself can see your warn level.

There is a space meter for your PM's in your Profile section.

Can anyone let me know the meaning of the Warning thingie under my avatar and info? I don't think I've seen anyone else with one here in the forum.

Is there a way to get rid of it? I feel like I should be standing in the corner.... down.gif

I don't think I've done anything naughty! A little info about it would be great. Thanks. smile.gif

This warning level, mean the times that you have been adviced for doing something that breaks the forum guidelines.

Everybody has a warning level, you can only see your own warning level.

Yes, is a curious feature, there is very strict security in this forum wink3.gif

Almys, does this include Wolfies offtopic.gif warnings?
That is one of the reasons that I don't post very much. I am afraid that I will get off topic, blush.gif and get warnings. Wolfie is sooooooo strict!
So I just usually read and shhh.gif and I can't get ahead that way!
BTW, how many warnings are we allowed? Just the few that are showing?

Hey ... I'm not that strict. unsure.gif

Mahrree this does not apply to any "off topic" warning posts I have made ... my job as moderator is to try to keep our forums running smoothly ... and I love you all to much to say "Hey, you can't post!" or "You post too much!"

Besides. if that were the case Corona would never had made 1000 posts in 2 months. shock.gif bleh.gif

Mahrre ... please don't ever feel you can not post here ... your opinions and views are very much appreciated and wanted ... you have an in your face approach to your posts that I have come to appreciate and look forward to. hug.gif

Now as to the warning system ... it basically works like this. If I or one of the other moderators determines that you are abusing the forums by using questionable language or posting undesirable and offensive content ... then you will be warned. This is done by first sending a PM to the offender in question.

If I or one of the other moderators has to continually warn a poster about his or her posting then the warner meeter will start to rise ... one notch for each warning. Once the meter reaches 10 or full ... then I notify the Administrators and the person is then banned for a determined amount of time.

I hope that clears this up for you. smile.gif

You were not the first one to wonder about that , and I'm sure wont be the last . When this board first opened , quite a few of the regulars now wondered the very same thing .

I might add that as of yet , I dont think any of the Mods here have had to use that feature at all . The people here are generally very well behaved ( for lack of a better term ) . Also , besides the Mods , you are the only one that can see your warning meter . No one else can . So as Wolfie said , by all means feel free to post here all you want .

Cause you are special. wink3.gif
Actually everyone has one but you can only see your own. If the occasion occurs that we need to censor you for anything by adding to your meter, no one else will know. It's only happened once that I know about.
