It was on the UO site a little time ago,

but:
In Sharper's office, at the top of the starting mushroom, is a fish tank. Everybody'll noticed it.
But there is a url on one of the boxes:

There is a story to all this ... if I can remember where it is I will post ... if someone has the links please post.

Also ... the actual aquarium is in Cyan's offices in Seattle ... another aspect of URU that is "real" biggrin.gif

Yeah, it is a wierd fish tank. Not to mention a pretty insecure safe. Especially with the instructions on how to open in sitting on the desk lol!

I was one of those "some people have all the luck" persons.

Here's a link to the pic I took of the tank.

The "Real" Teledehn Fishtank

(feel free to check out some of the other pics of Cyan, and pics of Spokane, WA...where they got some of their inspiration for the original Myst game)

If I remember correctly, Tony Fryman built it, but I can't remember if he designed it or if it was in Uru first or what.

It really works, too. Sealing the top prevents water from flowing out the "central feeding hole". There's a whole page about the fish tank in the CC strategy guide.

See L'orrs post above. That fish tank is a real working tank at Cyan in Spokane, Washington. I believe they had it for a while and used the design to put into the game.

About a week ago I bought the game guide to Uru CC and one page had info on the aquarium. I've since scanned the page and uploaded it. biggrin.gif
