ikonius, you have to stay at the right railing of the bridge (not the rope bridge) and just a tad to the left. Don't jump, just walk down. I found out that walking backward helps too.

I did have a lot of problems (even knowing where to step down) with this marker.

Good luck on that smile.gif

Did it!
First Try!
Thanks, Ayli . . .

Congrats! Even knowing how to get it, does not always help. The wrong angle, one step over... and ya gotta try again.

I've got a big problem with the same marker, I've jumped off that ledge over 30 times, and I swear my arms are flapping right through the thing, but still nothing!
Very frustrating!
I wish we had the option to do some graffiti in the city so I could have someone spraypaint a dot on the stone where I need to stand and a dot in the bridge where I need to look, and then I'll turn around and jump off backwards.
(I'd welcome a graffiti option in general too - would be fun to look at some "art of the day").

Anyway, will try the marker again later today....after some Xanax or something.

I still can't get to it!! aaargh!
I do things exactly as in the screenshots/decription, and I fly very very close to it, but not through it (apparently), this is so frustrating!
Can't they make the hit area a little bigger?

I think I need more help... as you can see from some screenshots I really jump very close/ almost through it, but it won't register!

I have had success by backing off slowly, and the turning my avie a bit as soon as I start to fall. That way my arm touches the marker.

Good luck!

I always use an empty city instance (use the Bahro linking stone in the Bevin linking room) to do city markers. The lag with anyone else in that instance always throws me off.

Also, do not walk off the edge. I gently tap... tap... the arrow key to just nudge myself over the edge. You will start to notice yourself starting to slide over the edge. Just let it happen (or one more tap on the keyboard until you do just slide over the edge). It is very easy to overshoot if you walk off at a normal pace. I actually managed to jump hard enough from the other side to get it but the lag gods were very friendly that day and I hit the last possible spot I could jump from. I don't recommend trying the long jump as it is an exercise in extreme frustration. The inset pciture in the CGZM guide actually shows that one successful jump.

I've got it!!! Whieeeej!

Finally, after over 40 attempts.

In addition to all the great explanations above, here what I did:

Walk along the right railing as close as you can get (use > key)
at the very end carefully turn around, take one small step to the right (use the > key)
then gently tap the down arrow until you take a small step back and fall off.
