I'm not opposed to a woman running the country... I guess I just find Hillary Clinton to be repulsive

I don't think I quite get it. Hillary is a woman? When did this happen? Why hasn't anyone told me?

i don't have a problem with a woman running the country (OT, i know).

back to the topic, i'm not sure a man could handle the discomfort and resulting pain of childbirth - traditional birth or cesarian...

Down here in NZ, we have no problems with a woman running the country (our own PM is a woman and has been for the past decade or so - will probably change in this year's election though). Guess it just depends on the woman.

Is this the topic, and did the man-having-a-baby thing get off topic? I'm confused....... blink.gif

i think it was "man-having-baby" thingy...

Here's the original post:

QUOTE (D'anak @ Dec 31 2007, 10:35 PM) *
I don't know why this thought came to mind...
...but I was reading a poll earlier and many stated that it is time for a woman to be President of the US.

So I thought.... Cool! Why can't men have babies?
If we're busy messing with the (so called) natural order of things... Then why not?

I have visions of thousands of hours of study into the animal world that says this will not be effective in the long run, but why not give it a try? Women can now be the hunters and men can be the gatherers... Yes there are a few species where the females do the Lion's share of the "hunting" but who protects the Pride from intruders?

I have many thoughts on this that I will reserve unless this topic takes off..... but I guess the main question I have for the women is why you would want our job in the first place???

Looks like Hillary isn't the Dem's nominee anymore.

If I had a choice, I wouldn't want to have a baby, seeing what my wife went through.
