I find it hard to believe that I am the first to comment about Rex's resignation. Did I miss another thread somewhere? unsure.gif

At any rate:

Rex,

Thank you so much for all you have done for us!!!! You have been an EXCELLENT membership coordinator! Your help, advice and kindness are much appreciated. Your presence in this role will be missed greatly.

You have become someone I consider a friend and I, for one, certainly hope to meet you IRL one day.

Good luck in the new endeavors that you have chosen to persue and have lots of fun!

Sincerely,
Piran

Don't ya just hate waking up to sad news? down.gif
That being said, I understand and can appreciate that there comes a time when a personal desire for change needs to be addressed.

Thanks Rex! Your time and effort has been appreciated. clapping.gif

No doubt we will cross paths in other venues and, I trust we will continue to
see you here. Take care and enjoy whatever you choose to do.

Rex, what can I say? down.gif You'll be missed in here, but I know you are doing what you need to do. You may have given up being Guild Master, but that doesn't mean you can't come in here and dazzle us with your brilliance in the forum games section once in awhile! Ahem, you had better get in here, or we're gonna have to send a posse out after you! Budgie, how are you with a lasso and hogtying?

Hiya Rex

Going to miss your vim, vigor and whit. Take care of yourself. You've been a formidable GM. Remember, "once a greeter, always a greeter", its in your blood.

Not sure what to say. I never expected Rex to retire from being a GW.

Thanks for the memories...

Actually Indy was going to make a proper post about this he was just working out the details in Pm's to Rex. smile.gif
But either way Sorry Bro your resigning I know it's a hard decision having done it myself ages ago
but even resigning as a GM always remember you CAN'T take the "Greeter" out of oneself no mater where you go
or the family we have all made here over trhe years.
See you in GW mate.

I remember the first time I was accepted as a Greeter was when Rex PMed me. It is one of the few PMs that I saved. I was so excited to be finally a part of a long-standing and respectable community of Uru fans. clapping.gif

Rex, thanks for all the thankless hours that you put behind the scenes. Best wishes for you and your future. You'll always be a Greeter. As the feds told Colin Farrell at the end of the film The Recruit (2003), "its in you." See you around.
