I have been getting lots of comments on her eyes, but I am wondering if the shadows are too distracting? unsure.gif

I *love* her piercing blue eyes in this picture, but I think you're correct about the shadows...

To me, they're particularly distracting because of the uneven/lattice-like patterns being so noticeable... Next time you might try propping up a piece of plain white posterboard with the shiny side angled toward her to at least diffuse the light a bit and minimize the shadow pattern if you take another pic in the same spot...

I like the shadows. For me, her eyes are so strong an element in the image that nothing else is a distraction. The shadows work with everything else to make a very interesting photograph. I like it.

Though I am posting these under "natural light", one of the following four is not. "Squeaky Clean" is taken under a compact fluorescent. I should have made some adjustments before I took the picture, but I don't have all day before she gets up and crawls away! laugh.gif

I hope you all enjoy these pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them. It's easy when you are passionate about the subject, and you have a great model!!

Squeaky Clean

My Friend Teddy

Browns Fan

Picture Perfect

This last one can use a little cropping. I just haven't figured out yet to what extent.
I also altered "My Friend Teddy" because Dana has scratched her nose. I used Paint to "heal" her scratch.

She is beautiful. And it looks like she plays to the camera or you are just very good with it or both.

Yikes! Almost a year since I last shared pictures of Dana.
Here is a link for more pictures. They are chronologically jumbled up as I was in a hurry when I uploaded them.
