I was admiring my set of stones when i noticed something weird. The stones had a slight wobble as they rotated around. I was sure i was not seeing things. I would like to know if anyone else is seeing this. And if this could be a developement.

4dak,

The objects have always wobbled, but you have to watch them for awhile to notice it. Have you also noticed

that they are translucent? You can see the inner edge of the stone base if you look at the bottom row of rotating objects. We call them stones, but are they?

I noticed that too, Lial, and not just the bottom layer, but the top layers, if you get close enough!

No wonder they float!

I also noticed that one of my bottom wedges is split down the middle with a crack. Any ideas what that is all about?

Hi Amn I see this is your first post, so WELCOME TO OUR FORUM! thumbsup.gif

I have to take a closer look, but it does not change my impression that:

these "stones" are not really stones at all, which explains why they float!

This is my 200th post.

Do you have an age that is "split" in two?? biggrin.gif

The garden ages (Gira/Kemo) are sister ages - though they combine as one age, they are separate as well. The stone reflects that.

Probably off topic ... but I have been pondering something about these stones. Mainly in their overall shape and what they seem to be building and their location on Relto ... and I have been asking myself if this could possible ... just possibly ... be an adaptation of the Linking Cage to Riven. whistling.gif

Gotcha. I didn't remember which age added this stone compared to the others and didn't see any icons that reflected the particluar age.

Thanks for the tip.

I think they really are edible.
For the Bahro.
Once we get all the entertainment set on our own little slice of D'ni heaven
the Bahro are all coming over for a picnic, dining our our revolving stones,
which will make their heads spin giving them a slight high, then
munch on our butterflies and fireflies, which will really get them high
and during Dolly's Kenny's concert, featuring "Islands in the Stream,"
the Bahro will have island jumping contests will
where they learn about sparkly fire and its dangers
and, that stoned up and stoned out Bahro can't really fly after all!
For us grownups, it's no Teddy's Picnic but Bahro Picnic!
Yeesha will come late and lecture us, but will be easily lead
into the waters that flow pool for a bit of skinny dipping!
Oh! should I have made that a spoiler? shock.gif Naughty Me!
Get collecting!
Lule-mae!

laugh.gif I don't know about wobbleling; but if you turn your ambient sounds waaaaaaaay up, you can hear them turning...they make little clicky, rocky noises...just like stones hitting one another or a type of machinery. whistling.gif

Hi Corbin, and WELCOME TO OUR FORUM!! bye2.gif

Now, I wonder what makes these wedges rotate. Why not just sit still? And the different layers seem to rotate at the same speed as the others.
