QUOTE (trickster721 @ Jan 26 2004, 12:12 PM)
The graphical ickyness around the islands is a clipping error caused by the game trying to render overlapping sprites.

In English: The fog around Relto has little holes in it where the islands go. There are two pictures that can be plugged into these holes, depending on if the islands are there or not- normal fog, or fog parting around the islands. It's trying to do both at once, because it's not sure if the islands are there or not, and it doesn't really work.

So ... if I understand what you are saying ... this is related to the Teledahn periscope bug ... or in other words ... graphic overlays are all out of sync with each other ... causing strange anomalies that we should not be seeing.

Am I understanding you? confused1.gif

Mmmmmmmmm could be.

I understand what Trickster is saying though. Fog 1, no holes. Fog 2, island holes. Both fogs were appearing at the same time & discombobulating with each other.

Some are even crooked, which is a feature I've not seen implemented in the current books so far.

If you look closely at your bookshelf, some of the little trays in which they sit are a little off center from each other. Almost like time and weather have taken a little toll on them and slightly warped them. That would make the books lean a little. I spent about 20 minutes just looking at that full bookshelf when I had it.

What a boring signature line I have here.

The lower shelf is going to have to have supports added to hold up the upper shelf ... with all those books added ... already starting to warp and sag in the middle there. cool.gif
