In case you didn't notice, Riven has now joined Myst on the iPad.

Robyn - Have you tried Riven on the iPad, yet? I finally went to the Dark Side and bought an iPad so the two Myst games seem a logical purchase!

Yes, I have both Myst and Riven on my iPad, but only play "casually" when out and about and have time on my hands, in no great hurry to finish. wink3.gif

I strongly recommend that you try another iPad game, "The Room." It's actually a series of puzzle boxes, and makes excellent use of the iPad graphics and user interface. thumbsup.gif

Interesting that one of the reviewers of "The Room" compared it to Myst, but not as frustrating! lmao.gif

Rex, I see you liked The Room and it's latest "epilogue" add-on puzzle-box just released. clapping.gif

There is some good marketing technique here, putting out this add-on/update as a "free" reminder to their existing customers, with the promise of a new version to come out before the end of the year. Want to bet it'll end up as "Game of the Year" for 2013, even if delayed to as late as December, just from the pent-up demand? wink3.gif I'm still hoping for a late September release for the one-year anniversary, but I'll take what I can get when I can get it. laugh.gif

I saw that! I was actually re-playing the game. and, of course, had to finish that before I checked out the new tid-bit. I really do like it and it is soooo Myst, complete with little 'Atris' notes! I, too, am looking forward to the next one. I hope it's a little bigger / longer! (Hmmm, that doesn't sound quite right...)

"The Room 2" is out now. I downloaded it in the early AM of December 12th. At the time there were only 19 reviews listed, but not yet posted, I'm guessing because someone was needed to review them for content.

At the same time, the original "The Room" is now in the FREE category. I'm betting that anyone who picks it up now and plays it IS going to be willing to buy the new version. wink3.gif
