I don't know if this is the right place to post with my problem, but I guess if it isn't you can move it to the right place. I cannot post in the Myst online forums. I had to redo my user name and pass word to be able to get into the forum and now it says I cannot post. It seems as though I remember when I first joined that forum that I had to do something else before I had full privileges, but I cannot find anything else to do. Can anyone help me?

I found the following instructions on the Myst online forums.
QUOTE (Chogon) Starting Friday Feb 4th, 2011 all members of this forum must be a member of the "Explorers" user group (look under the tab "Usergroups" at the top of the page) to make a post. This is an open group that will accept everyone that applies.
However, the group moderator must click "accept" on each request so there may be a delay as much as a couple days to get accepted as the group moderator works through the request list. If you have not been accepted after a couple days, you can send a Private Message to "GroupMod" or send an email to webmaster@cyanworlds.com The reason for this change has been the onslaught of spammers and their (stinking) robots on this forum that has been keeping the mods and I *very* busy. This should be one small step each forum poster has to take but should be one that none of the robot spammers take. I will setup the Explorers user group now so members can start applying before Friday. Thanks for your understanding! Chogon Added: Don't worry about the emailer error when you join the Explorers usergroup. Your request is not lost - I just don't get the email notification. Added more detail instructions to Join the Explorers group: 1) Log in to this forum. 2) Click on "Usergroups" near the top of the page. 3) Select the "Explorers" (it may already be selected). 4) Click on the "View Information" button. 5) Click on the "Join Group" button. 6) Wait for the GroupMod to accept your request. -------------------- |
