Does anybody have any info regarding the new world (Age) Doreno? I wasn't sure where to post this but I just had to ask somebody. I've beat all the other Ages, so the thought of a new one emerging sounds great...any info on this subject would be great

Dereno is a Museum age, like Negilahn, that you view things through a pod. There's a screenshot on the MO:UL site.

I've been away for about a week--has Negilahn been "completed?" Do we solve it or just view the animals? ![]() Moderator Note

it should be open today.
Nick white said tomorrow morning at last night 3:00am my time when i was talking to him (GMT) cavern time would still have been in the day before, log in this evening, hopefully we should have dereno opened. EDIT: Oh and about negilahn. the current state of it has been "completed" and we have a reliable system for predicting certain events and appearances that happen in the pod (check the MO:UL forums for calculators etc. i wont put spoilers here) However Rils from the explorer run d'ni zoological society, as well as sharper and nick white (maybe more DRC) are going outside the pod sometime this week to hunt down a predator which has reduced the number of animals in the age This post has been edited by samsbase: Mar 15 2007, 07:28 AM -------------------- The ending will never be written as long as the called remain to continue in the footsteps of those who came before.

Its kind of early to determine if Sharper is solely responsible. And neither of the these individuals are DRC. -------------------- jarel, formerly Schlomo

I wonder if we will ever get to explore the outside of these Ages at all...
![]() They're certainly interesting, but I want new Age puzzles soon. ![]() |

I think, based on the size the files have in the "dat" folder in your computer, that this so called "Pod Ages" are not meant to be explore outside. They are "fake ages", like the "islands" in Annohnay were - just a frame paint.

But, that *could* be an artifact of setting up the ages for public vs. private exploring, could it not? I mean, historically, the Baron's City Office was a lonely place, and now it can be a party house.... sort of....
Could we not have access to an area outside the pods via a linking book in a different location eventually? ** crosses fingers that she can one day go exploring the jungle in Negilahn ** -------------------- When asked if my cup is half-full or half-empty my response is,

Oh, yeah! That "gorilla" looking thing? He looks positively frightful! I wonder if he's the thing that cracked the pod ceiling to begin with?

Those pods look like they were manufactured by that stone processing technique I read about in the D'ni books. I doubt they used nara for the pods (too expensive). Hope the Dereno pod holds out. Looks like the cold has put a lot of cracks in the wall. ![]() |
