Why are they doing this? How odd...

I know it's a big download as Danie said Why? Are Ubi/Cyan going to put all games for download?
They are all on CD/DVD now.
I don't get it do they need more of an online market place? or is it just a test for the future of Games delivery/selling?
Need more info. unsure.gif

Well , I am going to assume they had to OK it to be there in the first place . The strange thing though , is I dont see anywhere where they are charging anything for it . I do find it kind of hard to believe that they would just be giving Exile away as a free download . It does say that you need to have purchased the game , but I dont see any links that let you do that .

Maybe they are just trying it out to see how many nibbles they get from it or see if they can get any new people hooked on Myst . Dunno for sure .

Maybe someone should pass that on to Ubi and make sure it's Kosher...seems a bit strange to me.

Ubis' Myst team is cool, so don't go bashing me, but Ubis' marketing team seems to act like a trojan. Their vicious & quick trying to exploit internet marketing like they're trying to catch up with something or trying to find a new venue. I think the shipping fiasco with Uru last year has got them even more hyper than usual. Which is not a good thing. Marketting & lawyers.....Ewwwwwwww! Ickies! I scrub & I scrub, but the dirt still won't come off!

I always want to have the disc, don't know how many times something happens to my computer and I have to reinstall everything. Plus just the formatting and reinstalling frequently so as to clean up my drive.

With my connection, it'd take a week to download and then it'd crash at 95% blink.gif
