I challenge you to try this. There are some things that the brain just cannot handle.

It takes about 2 seconds, to test an orthopedic surgeon's sense of humour.

This will confuse your mind and you will keep trying over and over again to see if you can outsmart your foot, but, you can't. It is pre-programmed in your brain.

Sooo we go ...are you ready, now? Ok:

1. While sitting at your desk in front of your computer, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles.

2. Now, while doing this, draw the number '6' in the air with your right hand. Your foot will change direction.

I told you so! And there's nothing you can do about it! You and I both know how stupid it is, but before the day is done you will probably try it again, if you've not already done so …Heh heh!

You need to specify drawing the "6" starting from the top. I find that starting from the inside is pretty easy.

While I did find it difficult to keep the foot rotating properly when starting the 6 from the top, it wasn't impossible. But then, I already know my brain is wired a bit differently... "Cross-dominant." Right handed - left eyed. I'm also a trained organist, using both feet on a full pedal-board as well as both hands, all going at once. blush.gif Just don't ask me to read a music score and play at speed with all that going on. The cross-dominance thing works against me there. whistling.gif

Robyn's an organist? Neat. I just got Widor's Symphony #8. Interesting music, and approach to the organ.

As for the six thing, if I think about it I can counterrotate, but it takes concentration. smile.gif
