Birthday Posting Guidelines Options

Due to some confusion with the time zone differences , we have come up with some simple rules to follow when posting Happy Birthday threads .

First of all the title can be as how we have been doing this . Example : Happy Birthday <persons name> . ( you can also list their age in parenthesis if you wish ( 38 ) ) .

Next we ask that in the topic description that you please put the day of the birthday . Example : 15 June

This will help eliminate any confusion as when the birthdays actually are . When posting them in an earlier time zone , the persons birthday isn't always listed under 'Birthdays' on the main page in the later time zones . This has led some people to think that they may have missed the birthday , causing them to send 'belated' wishes when in fact they aren't .

Threads will be closed after 4 or 5 days. This should be ample enough time for all to post their wishes and for the person celebrating to respond in kind. Thank you for your understanding and support.
