OK, I'm not sure where to put this question, and before I start bugging shard admins, I wonder if anyone knows:

Is it true that I need three clean installs of UCC if I want to play the standalone, UU and TPOTS online?

I've read the directions, and sorry, my green newbie tek skin is showing....

I've logged onto the great tree TPOTs shard and have gone through the tree and gotten my Relto book. After that, I get nothing, except an exception error.

Has anyone gotten onto any of the TPOTS shards, and is it still as buggy?

Yes, it's true. You need three installs in different directories/folders (you can shortcut time a bit by copying the directories at different installation stages, e.g. after installing Uru Prime copy that directory for later use as UU before installing TPOTS, etc. but simply installing three times into different directories does the trick as well. Remember to make sure you have a different start-menu shortcut for each install!) UU needs the Uru Prime install only, no To D'ni & TPOTS, btw.
The easiest way is to treat each as a seperate game entirely, make sure you install each in a seperate directory, have a seperate link to start the game and follow the directions for each special case (UU & Huru).
Huru is still very problematic, it is good for experimenting, but not really for playing yet, IMHO.

down.gif headbang.gif blink.gif <sigh> ok. Thank you RK.

Um, but I've been using UCC and going to UU without any problem...

I CAN install UCC to a new directory for (TPOTS online) and leave my other two alone, yes?

Should be no problem, as long as everything is in a seperate directory, Uru doesn't care about the other installations...
