That WAS a good link!

I . . .
as usual . . .
started nosing around through the other youtubes listed alongside the one in the link.

And found the classic "spam" skit . . .
with subtitles.

Tinkian question number 42.44457778:

What are the symbols?
Japanese?

Tinkian question number 42.44457779:
Which are the ones for "spam"?

Tinkian question number 42.44457780:

I figured this by watching the movie, then used the translate feature in MS Word to use the characters, that matched.

I'll check this tomorrow at work and post here, if no one replies by then. I do suspect thought that it is a transliteration.

Transliteration . . .
The symbols are Romanji?

Simulating spoken English sounds into equivalent spoken Japanese sounds?

That's cool . . .
I guess.

Though, I was kinda sorta hoping it would be something descriptive . . .
from New Eyes POV . . .
like maybe . . .
"square pig" or something.

Edit: The Lady of TDS had to go in and correct some typos.

Yep, I just confirmed. It is a transliteration and pronounced as: "Supamu" smile.gif

These are the Katakana characters and the input method is called Romanji smile.gif
